Nick landed in Los Angeles at the end of 2018 with confidence, demo reels, and a realistic expectation on the odds. He had also made an unofficial contract with himself before he left that he would survive at least one year as nothing but an actor along with the hard line that he could hit rock bottom at least twice. And that he did. Then his pursuit of acting took an unexpected turn. While on set for an indie film he met an actress named America Young who explained that she did "Motion Capture" for games like Call of Duty. A light went on for Nick, because he had been playing games since he was a kid, but never once considered it a viable path as an actor. Soon after, he came across a casting call for a triple A lead that he was certain was Resident Evil, which was his favorite videogame series. He lived and breathed this audition leading up to it, drilling firearms and tactical movement, honing his physical gestures with other theatre actors, and losing eight pounds in a week. Between all of this preparation and a deep love for the franchise, he walked in with the belief that nobody auditioning knew it better. This is how today's Leon Kennedy came to be. Playing Leon catapulted Nick's career in ways he never could have imagined. The Resident Evil 2 remake led to the Resident Evil 4 remake, the Netflix original film Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, and Leon's return in Resident Evil Requiem. The experience he gained from these games allowed him to branch out into other franchises and taught him the craft of voice over, opening a new career avenue that brought him into industries like anime. His character's fandom also introduced him to the convention circuit, where connecting with fans revealed a deeper meaning in his work and the impact it has on others. Through it all, he never lost his love for TV and film, and he was offered a role in The Fixers, a show that combined his passions for acting and building. The series took him around the world constructing infrastructure for communities in need, all while he was shooting the Resident Evil 4 remake. Though that stretch pushed him to his limits, Nick still calls it the most fulfilling work of his life.

Nick has always been a gamer since he was a kid and he is now known as his favorite character in his favorite franchise. He continues to grow his presence in this industry, whether it's acting in games or by appearing at conventions to meet and trade art with his fans.
